This fan-made Raspberry Pi Mini NES Classic Console is seriously cool

It’s very much like Nintendo’s own NES Classic Edition, which is coming soon as well, but actually better in many ways: It plays a whole lot more games than Nintendo’s own solution, uses standard USB and wireless controllers, has a really neat feature where you can use mini NFC NES carts that you insert directly into the fully working cartridge slot (take that, Nintendo), and even plays far more than just NES games (it plays pretty much any retro console games via emulation).

There’s also a SNES one coming soon too, and that I’m even more excited about. 😀
